Men and women of the Colombian Military Forces and the National Police are preparing to adorn the streets of the capital city of the country, with the traditional National Independence Day parade on July 20, 2023, an event in honor of the Colombian people and the Bicentenary of the Colombian Navy.
This is how the Military Transport Air Command- CATAM sent Boeing-737 aircraft for the transfer, from Cartagena, Barranquilla, Coveñas and Cali to Bogotá, of the delegations of the Almirante Padilla Naval Cadet School, the Navy Infantry Training School, the Naval School of Non-Commissioned Officers of the Colombian Navy and the Marco Fidel Suárez Military Aviation School of the Colombian Air Force.
The majestic parade will take place on Boyacá Avenue from 153rd Calle to 127th Calle and will start at 12:30 midday. During the tour, members of the National Army, the Colombian Navy, the Colombian Air Force and the National Police will march with martiality showing the Resources they count on to support security throughout the country's territory.
During the weekend, the delegations transported by CATAM to Bogotá will carry out internal rehearsals and on July 16 and 18 joint rehearsals from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. for which road closures were scheduled on Boyacá Avenue between 170th and 116th streets.
The Colombian Air Force invites the Colombian people to participate in this parade that is held in their honor, which ratifies the commitment of the Military Forces and the National Police to ensure the security of the entire nation.
