It is estimated that this device, which was 20 meters long and two meters wide, could transport up to two tons of drugs.
Three rudimentary mortars, 13 improvised explosive devices, 11 rudimentary mortar rounds and items of military accessories were in the same way found in this area. The material was destroyed in controlled conditions, following established procedures.
It is presumed that this armed group would be responsible for committing terrorist operations against the inhabitants, with the installation of explosive devices on the banks of the San Juan River, endangering the life and good physical condition of the inhabitants in this area of the country. In this way troops neutralize illicit activities and drug trafficking routes from San Juan and Itsmina to the Pacific Ocean.
