The II Peasant and Resilience Fair was held with great success in Villavicencio, of the Libertadores Park, where sales by more than one hundred million pesos were possible. This event, which celebrated the strength and entrepreneurial spirit of the peasant communities, was an important boost for the local economy.
Colombian National Army, through the Comprehensive operation Battalion Nº4 and its Faith in Colombia program, showed its firm commitment to the most vulnerable communities through this fair, which had the valuable support of the Land Restitution Unit, the Government of the department of Meta and the Administration of Villavicencio, which led to its resounding success.
One of the organizers expressed his gratitude to the attendees: "Thank you for coming and joining us at this very important event."
The II Peasant and Resilience Fair was not only a space for marketing local products, but in the same way a moment of community strengthening and promotion of resilience and sustainable development in the Meta department region.
