As part of the commemoration of June 28, World Tree Day, the reforestation activity called Colombia Siembra Vida was carried out in Villavicencio, Meta, in three places simultaneously: in the Vig铆a village, the reserve of the Apiay military base and on the Acac铆as road, with the aim of planting the most trees in one minute.
This event was held at the national level, being led by Colombian National Army. In this case, it was supported by the Air Combat Command No. 2 of the Colombian Aerospace Force, the Meta Governorate, the Departmental Assembly, the Municipal Council, among other institutions that wanted to join this sowing for life.
About 5,000 trees were planted by the hands of the staff fighting to conserve the ecosystem, preserving the most important thing it has: natural resources that, with the time, have been damaged by environmental pollution caused by man.
