The war material would belong to armed groups that commit crimes in the region and apparently planned to deliver it to the organized armed group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, in the south of Bol铆var.
Troops of the Fifth Brigade, in coordination with the National Police, thanks to information provided, found an illegal hiding place with explosives and ammunition in the village of La Llana, in the municipality of San Alberto, Cesar.
Among the material, the soldiers of the Infantry Battalion N掳 14 Capitan Antonio Ricaurte found IM26 grenades, a plastic container with approximately 15 kilograms of rudimentary explosive, 2 electric detonators and more than 1200 cartridges of different calibers.
According to intelligence work, this material was planned to be distributed to structures of the organized armed group, GAO, Clan del Golfo that commits crimes in the south of the department of Bol铆var.
With operations like these, the terrorist intentions of the groups that commit crimes in the region and that attack the safety and physical condition of families are neutralized, joining efforts that led to ensure the tranquility of the inhabitants and the troops.
