In territorial control operations, within the framework of the Bicentenary Plan Heroes de la Libertad, troops of the Twenty-Ninth Brigade, a military unit of the National Army's Specific Command of Cauca, in coordination with the Cauca Transit and Transport Police, found approximately 183 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, in a truck, which would have been abandoned by unknown persons in a parking lot in the urban area of El Bordo, in the municipality of Patía, Cauca.
This result was possible thanks to the initiative and operational dynamics of the High Mountain Battalion No.4 General Benjamín Herrera Cortes, which, with the support of the Police, generated control strategies that led to the discovery of a considerable number of sealed packages containing hydrochloride of cocaine, which would belong to the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Carlos Patiño who commits crimes in the zone.
It is important to highlight that this result damages the finances of this criminal structure, since the material found would have a cost of more than 1,000 million pesos, thus reducing the logistical strengthening of this structure.
