As part of the different operations carried out jointly by the Colombian Navy and Colombian National Army, on the different river tributaries of the Colombian Pacific, 3,650 gallons of illegal fuel were found by troops in Pizarro - Chocó department.
At a river checkpoint on the Baudó River, in the sector known as San José de Quera, the municipality of Pizarro, revised a boat in which 3,650 gallons of gasoline were traveling. When reviewing the documentation for the transport of the fuel, it was determined that it did not have the relevant permits.
Apparently, this fuel would allegedly be used in laboratories for the production of coca base paste in this area of the country, where the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo commits crimes.
The fuel was put into custody of the National Police of Bajo Baudó - Chocó department.
