The activity was led by Colombian National Army. More than 800 inhabitants of the villages of Oripaya, Patillales, Agua Blanca and Villaluz, in the rural area of Cúcuta, enjoyed a development support activity that took place this Saturday, November 23, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in front of the court of the Oripaya village.
The activity was led by the Mechanized Cavalry Group Nº 5 General Hermógenes Maza, the Support Battalion of Comprehensive operation and Development Nº 2, Program Fe en Colombia and the Professional Officers of the Reserve, together with the allies Mayor of Cúcuta, Migration Colombia, Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing, Motorrad Angels, Consentidos, Teleconecta and the Edunorte institute.
During the activity, the services of general medicine, dentistry, psychology, physiotherapy, veterinary, counseling to migrant people, as well as psychosocial assistance and gender-based violence will be provided.
There were in the same way haircuts for ladies, gentlemen and children, manicures; school supplies, books and footwear were given, and the soldiers of the Comprehensive operation and Development Support Battalion No. 2 demonstrated their resources with the Segunda Dimensión Orchestra, a clown show, face painting, and trampolines.
