In a joint effort to continue working for the progress of the Alto Vichada Productive Project, the Colombian Air Force, in coordination with the National Highway Institute, INVIAS, the National Directorate for Illicit Plantation Substitution and the Community actions Boards, held two key meetings for the implementation of the second phase of the project. These sessions, held in the municipalities of G眉erima and Cumaribo, were fundamental to ensure the consolidation of the objectives in this new stage of development.
During these meetings, a strategic route was made along the La Pica road, in G眉erima, where it was possible to identify the critical points for road intervention. The optimization of this road construction will facilitate the transit of people and goods, reducing travel times and improving access to essential services such as health, education and food supply, which will increase the general well-being of the community.
This reinforced connectivity, in addition to better integrating local communities with the rest of the country, will boost local economic development by facilitating trade and mobility, creating a favorable environment for new investments and productive projects that will benefit the inhabitants, both in the short and in the long term.
In this way, the Air Force works for the progress of the most remote regions of the country, continues to work hand in hand with the communities and State institutions to ensure the success of this second phase of the Alto Vichada Productive Project, reaffirming its role as a strategic ally in the construction of a prosperous and sustainable future for all Colombians.
