Approximately 200 soldiers of the Fourteenth Brigade, are already in the village Los Trozos.
In compliance with the objectives of the Ayacucho Joint Strategic Campaign Plan, troops of the Fourteenth Brigade began their deployment of the military operation in the rural area of the municipality of Anorí, specifically in the village of Los Trozos, in order to provide and work to increase the protection to the inhabitants of this sector.
This is how Colombian National Army is already in the village with approximately 200 men, who will seek to counter the criminal operations of the organized armed groups that have been attacking security and tranquility in this area of the Northeast of Antioquia, due to the armed confrontations engaged against each other’s to gain control of the illicit activities derived from illegal mining.
In the same way, the military forces have made use of different resources to weaken the operations of these groups outlaw, using artillery, as well as counting on the Explosives and Demolitions Groups (EXDE), focused on the detection and neutralization of explosive devices and the support of the Army Aviation.
In the same way, through these military operations, it is sought to provide an accompaniment to the inhabitants, working to increase their free mobility over the territory.
