With a route of approximately 555 kilometers, an aircraft Cassa-295 of the Colombian Air Force transported 4,335 kilograms, corresponding to 706 nutritional baskets that will benefit indigenous boys and girls in the non-municipalized areas of La Pedrera, La Chorrera and Mirit铆 Paran谩 in the department of Amazonas.
For this mission, it was necessary to spend several hours of flight on the aircraft the Air Force, with the objective of transporting food from the Military Transport Air Command (CATAM) in Bogot谩 to the Amazonas Air Group (GAAMA) in Leticia, from where the Cassa-295 left to carry food supplies to areas of difficult access.
The humanitarian flight in support of the Colombian Family Wellbeing Institute, ICBF, seeks to take the kits to the houses where the minors are living the mandatory isolation decreed by the National Government to face the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Colombian Air Force, through the Amazonas Air Group, extends its wings to bring well-being to the indigenous communities in the most remote communities in the farthest southern region of the country.
