This operation benefits the most vulnerable communities in the rural area of the municipality.
In a coordinated effort, seeking the well-being of the community, soldiers of Colombian National Army and the Arturo Calle foundation, built and donated five eco-efficient stoves to families in the municipality of San Cayetano in Norte de Santander.
The soldiers arrived at the Llano Amarillo village, where for several days, during long work activities, they adapted and installed the kitchens in each of the houses, thus contributing to improving the quality of life of these families.
These stoves are designed to handle the fire in a confined space, with the aim of efficiently taking advantage of the thermal energy generated by the wood, as well as reducing the production of smoke and other pollutants generated by combustion.
Among laughs, and in a fraternal way, Celiar García, one of the beneficiaries, thanked the soldiers of Colombian National Army for bringing this kitchen to his home.
There are about 30 people of these five families who benefit from this beautiful work carried out by Colombian National Army through the soldiers of the Comprehensive Action and Development Battalion No. 2, the Mechanized Cavalry Group No. 5, the Faith in Colombia program and the Arturo Calle foundation.
