Antioquia. In recent hours, the Urabá Coast Guard Station of the National Navy in a maritime interdiction operation, safeguarded the lives of 20 foreigners who sailed in the sector Punta Yerbasal, in Chocó, in the Gulf of Urabá.
In the boat named "Doña Martha", 19 adults and one minor of age were being transported. They are foreigners from Bangladesh, Cuba, Ghana, India and Pakistan, who were trying to make their way to Central America.
The group of 20 irregular migrants was taken to the facilities of the Urabá Coastguard Station, where they received medical assistance to be subsequently put into custody of Migración Colombia.
