More than 700 soldiers will be deployed along the main roads and rivers of the department.
The soldiers of the Joint Task Force Titan of the Seventh Division of the National Army launched an extensive operation to guarantee the safety of all the transporters and passengers that will circulate along the main roads of the department of Chocó.
Vigilance work will be carried out through the installation of checkpoints, as well as day and night patrols, especially on the roads that connect the capital of the department with the cities of Pereira and Medellín.
In addition to ensure safety, the soldiers will be reminding drivers of the importance of respecting and complying traffic rules, reviewing the mechanical conditions of their vehicles and the responsibility of driving with caution to reach their destination without mishap.
In the same way, those who travel through the main rivers of the department will have accompaniment, fluvial control checkpoints and permanent surveillance by units of the Marine Infantry of the National Navy.
In the same way, helicopters of the Colombian Air Force and the National Army, will be ready and available to attend any eventuality that requires the immediate presence of the Security forces to guarantee security and constitutional order.
