Bogot谩. At the facilities of the Military Museum of Bogot谩, a wreath laying was held on the bust of the Romanian Prince, Alexandru Ioan Cuza, founder of the Romanian State, as a symbol of the excellent bilateral relations between Colombia and Romania.
Those who presided over the event remembered all the heroes who have given their lives for the country. They were the ones who motivated in 1993 in the Military Museum in Bogota the arrival of the bust of Prince Alexandru Loan Cuza, and in reciprocity, in 1994, the statue of General Francisco de Paula Santander was inaugurated at the National Military Museum in Bucharest, Romania.
This important activity was attended by the military and police officers accredited in Colombia, as well as officials of the Colombian Foreign Ministry, and other special guests.
During the ceremony, Mrs. Sena Latif, Ambassador of Romania in Colombia, extolled the operation of the members of the Military Forces, highlighting the courage and bravery of the soldiers who work daily in different parts of the country, guaranteeing the safety of the Colombians and foreigners who live in our territory, as well as tourists.
Colonel Gersson Freddy Buitrago, director of the Historical Memory Office of the Strategic Joint Command of Transition, said that Prince Ioan Cuza, in turn, was an outstanding person in the history of Romania, who, as our heroes, gave all for the good of his country and wanted the prosperity of all nations.
