This infrastructure would belong to the Residual organized armed group, GAO-r, of the former Farc, whose main ringleader is the individual known as Gentil Duarte.

In compliance with the Bicentenary Operations Plan Heroes Of Freedom and in joint, coordinated and inter-agency military operations conducted by troops of the Joint Task Force Omega, the soldiers of the Ground Operations Battalion No. 6, found a workshop type infrastructure on the sector known as Ca帽o Cabra, Municipality of Vista Hermosa, Meta.
In this place, high-danger explosive devices were assembled and subsequently used for the purpose of hinder the operation of troops against illicit plantations.
In the military area search, 254 improvised explosive devices were found by troops in PVC containers of one kilo each and electrical activation systems, 13 directional improvised explosive devices in metal containers, reinforced with three-inch nails and electrical activation system.
Similarly, 30 metal containers for improvised explosive devices, 12 55-gallon plastic containers, two improvised explosive devices in a 40-kilo cylindrical metal container, two 55-gallon containers with links, five five-gallon plastic containers, two metal containers and approximately 80 gallons of DIESEL were also found.
The other materials found in the workshop include 300 meters of Two wire cable, 100 meters of copper cable, 40 professional camera flash, 40 rods, 13 vehicle alarms, 12 galvanized pipes, 10 PVC pipes, 10 sheets of iron, four grenade fuzes, three batteries and a electricity generator.
The use of such weapons constitutes a violation of International Humanitarian Law and the Colombian Criminal Code, Article 142: use of illicit means and methods of war. It in the same way, it violates the third article common to the four Geneva Conventions and violates the Human Rights of all Colombians.
