An indigenous woman with 36 weeks of pregnancy was transported by river via the Orteguaza River, to the vicinity of the Air Combat Command No. 6, CACOM 6, where the military medical personnel received her to carry out a humanitarian aeromedical transfer mission and thus save the pregnant woman and her baby.
The 38-year-old mother, belonging to the Jerico-Consaya reserve of the Coreguaje indigenous people, had a prolonged labor, therefore, she required specialized assistance to save these two lives, that's how a HUEY II helicopter was transferred of the Air Military Unit to the capital city of the department of Caquet谩.
During the flight, the health personnel provided medical assistance by checking the vital signs of the mother and the baby, until she was given to the specialists of the Mar铆a Inmaculada Departmental Hospital.
