An elderly woman was transferred in an ambulance aircraft of the Colombian Air Force from the Island of Providencia to San Andrés, due to general malaise and various complications in her health.
The military personnel of the Caribbean Air Group attended the call of the National Personnel Recovery Center, CNRP, of the Colombian Air Force, who reported an 81-year-old woman with abnormalities in her stomach and required an aeromedical transfer for a check-up in a hospital.
The woman was transferred to San Andres Island to Clarence Lynd Newball Memorial Hospital, which has great capacity to conduct studies and, thus, determine the management and future treatment for her; during the flight, the crew kept her vital signs stable and transported her without any complications.
Upon arrival in San Andrés, the woman was handed over by military medical personnel to the ambulance service, in proper conditions; thus, the Colombian Air Force, through the Caribbean Air Group, will continue to protect the good physical condition of the inhabitants of the Colombian Caribbean Islands.
