A patient with six months of gestation was transferred from the municipal airfield of Timbiquí, to Popayán, Cauca, by the Air Combat Command No.7 of the Colombian Air Force.
The humanitarian mission was carried out in a timely manner, due to the health complications that the woman reported. The transfer was necessary for the mother and her baby to receive specialized care.
The team of doctors and military nurses aboard the aircraft, permanently monitored her vital signs, until she arrived at the Popayan airport, there an ambulance was waiting to transfer her to the San José Hospital.
