The Naval Academy of Cadets 'Almirante Padilla' received the visit of a group of Cadets and Officers of the Navy of France, to share with them the Colombian military naval training model, results of research and innovation and our challenges as maritime university and naval academy.
The group of foreigners belongs to the crews of the ships PHA 'Le Tonnerre' and FLF 'La Fayette', who are in Cartagena port until tomorrow, April 5, as part of the training cruise of 130 Cadets.
During the professional visit, an institutional presentation was made, a tour by the university campus and a visit to the Center for Research, Development and Innovation of Maritime Activities of the Naval School, where they participated in a navigation exercise in the Full Mission bridge simulator, where the Colombian Cadets are trained in decisions making.
As part of this exchange, Colombian Cadets visited French ships this weekend.
This activity contributes to the international visibility of the Naval Academy of Cadets 'Almirante Padilla', giving the students the opportunity to learn about other cultures and strengthen ties of partnership with students of the European country.
