In the heart of the Catatumbo region, in Norte de Santander, there is the Motilón Barí - Ichirrindakayra indigenous community, an ancestral reservation that currently has intact its hunting, fishing and beliefs traditions.
In a coordinated work conducted by the Territory Renewal Agency and the National Army through the Vulcano Task Force, it was possible to provide two new projects for the Motilón Barí - Ichirrindakayra Indigenous Community, in the municipality of Tibú.
The event was attended by the Presidential Counselor for the stabilization and consolidation for the post-conflict, Emilio Archila, and the event began with the inauguration of a modern system of drinking water supply for this population, who before had to walk for several hours to access this resource, in the same way, solar panels were distributed and so they will guarantee the continuous energy in the sector.
At the end of the activity, the National Army gave Christmas presents to the children of the community; in the same way, it distributed medicines and supplies to the families.
