Four members of the ELN voluntarily surrendered to the troops of the National Army, and a minor of age was recovered, during a continuous operation conducted by the Military Forces in the municipality of El Tambo, in the department of Cauca.
The events were reported in the municipality of San Juan de Micay, in Los Cedros district, where troops of the Rapid Deployment Force No. 4 of the National Army, in a decisive operation achieved the voluntary surrender of alias Esteban, head of the security group of alias Palermo; alias El Mocho, ringleader of militias and political ringleader of the structure; and alias El Flaco, ringleader of guerillas with interference operations in Argelia and El Plateado, in the department of Cauca.
In the same way, a woman, identified as the girlfriend of alias Palermo, the head of the group who had surrendered with 19 other people to the National Army in previous days, also surrendered.
In the same way, it was possible to recover a minor who was put into custody of the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing for the restoration of his rights. This situation shows once again the systematic violation of International Humanitarian Law by the ELN, by continuing to recruit minors.

This military operation continues to give decisive blows to the armed and logistical subsystem of the ELN, which is currently committing crimes in the department of Cauca.
