Once again the professionalism and experience of the Colombian Air Force made it to be a regional reference for combined exercises. In a new training environment, in which B-52 aircraft of the United States Air Force (USAF) and Kfir aircraft of the Colombian Air Force (FAC) operated together with the objective to strengthen interoperability and train as allied countries, under NATO standards.
This operational exercise planned and conducted by the Southern Command of the United States and the Colombian Air Force, which has been called: Brother's Shield (Brotherhood Shield) was carried out on Sunday in Colombian airspace.
The Colombian Air Force continues to train its crews to strengthen distinctive resources that led it to fulfill the constitutional mission of guaranteeing the defense of sovereignty, independence, good territorial physical condition, constitutional order, and contribute to the ends of the State.
