Among the individuals would be alias Repollo, accused of being the finance ringleader of this residual structure and one of the main responsible for criminal operations in this department.
By means of a combat maneuver and military intelligence work in the Alto Pomares village, municipality of Guacarí, department of Valle del Cauca, troops of the National Army carried out the neutralization in development of military operations of the individuals accused of being alias Repollo and alias Araño, who would be members of the Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Adán Izquierdo.
Alias Repollo, is in the same way accused of being the third ringleader of this GAO-r, he would be in charge of planning, coordinating and executing terrorist acts against the Military Forces; he in the same way would have been responsible for targeted killings of social and indigenous leaders; kidnapping and extortion in this department.
This individual is accused of being responsible for acquiring logistical and war material for this terrorist group; he would collect money as a result of extortion, where according to preliminary information, he would be receiving about 50 million pesos a month.
With the neutralization of this important ringleader of the GAO-r Adan Izquierdo, the National Army continues to weaken the command and control of this structure, it was in the same way possible to mitigate the serious human rights violations of the civilians that this criminal committed. The military operation continues to be conducted throughout the southwest of the country, with the aim of consolidating and stabilizing this region in fulfillment of the constitutional mission.
