About 800 children benefit from this work of the High Commissioner for Peace and the Mayor's Office.
Soldiers of Engineering Battalion No.5 Coronel Francisco Jos茅 de Caldas, of the Fifth Brigade, of the Second Division, worked hard for two days on the installation of a playground, which benefits about 800 children of the sector of la Inmaculada in Bucaramanga, Santander.
This space donated by the Office of the High Commissioner for Peace and thanks to the management of the Mayor's Office of the capital city of Santander, was a request made by the smallest since the beginning of this year, because this community did not have appropriate environments for healthy recreation.
Thus, in record time, the soldiers worked on the assembly, adaptation and correct installation of the foundations of this structure, as well as the planting of trees that will improve the aesthetics of the sector.
In this way, the National Army maintains its firm commitment to be part of the generation of healthy environments that contribute to the healthy coexistence, respect and union of the communities of our region.
