Military Gaula units distribute food baskets in quarantine by covid-19 in Santander
The Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) in innumerable support activities have distributed 39,976 humanitarian kits, benefiting 119,928 people in vulnerable areas of Colombia.
The Military Gaula of Santander, during support activities, in addition to permanent support, has directed the search for people hit by Covid-19 through social networks, reaching people with disabilities and older adults, who may live in settlements and day to day, alleviating their situation a little.
In the framework of Operation San Roque, all members of the Military Gaula have reinforced prevention activities against kidnapping and extortion crimes in the different municipalities of the country, carrying out 133 daytime and nighttime activities of loudspeakers in which they share ways of self-care to prevent the risk of contagion of the Covid-19, as well as the importance of reporting the crimes of kidnapping and extortion.
In the same way, 476 posters have been placed in strategic spaces to show the 147 line and the contact numbers of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) in each region. 504 activities of the Presence Plan have been carried out, along with border control operations, and security checkpoints, and 1,555 radio messages have been broadcasted to invite the community to join.
