The Amazonas Air Group - GAAMA, in coordination with the National Personnel Recovery Center - CNRP, carried out the aeromedical transfer of a 68-year-old man with serious health problems from Leticia (Amazonas) to the capital city of the country to be assisted by specialists.
The patient had internal bleeding, being necessary to transfer him urgently to a third-level hospital to be evaluated by specialists in the city of Bogot谩, he was transported in a King 350 type ambulance aircraft, of the CATAM Military Transport Air Command.
The aircraft arrived at the military ramp of the Amazonas Air Group in the morning hours. On board there were military doctors of the National Personnel Recovery Center -CNRP, who assessed the patient's health status. It should be noted that thanks to the high-tech equipment that the aircraft has, he was taken and given to his health care institution.
In this way, the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the GAAMA, will continue to carry out air operations, with the purpose of timely assisting the Colombian inhabitants, making its aircraft available to meet the needs of compatriots.
