Units of the Fifth Division of the National Army with the support of the National Police manage to deal a powerful blow after several days of follow-up to the ringleader Loco Milciades.
After starring in various criminal activities in order to strengthen the finances and intentions expansion of Organised Armed Group (residual) Dagoberto Ramos, Milciades Olaya Yasno known by the alias of Loco Milciades, was accused of being the second ringleader of the Network of Support Structures, and had become one of the men most wanted by the authorities, that today in a coordinated work was neutralized in development of military operations.
Troops of the Infantry Battalion No.26 of the ninth Brigade, Military Intelligence of the National Army and the Sijin (Judicial Police) of Huila, reached the municipality of Río Negro in Ichira, area of criminal operation of the Dagoberto Ramos mobile column.
During the military operation was killed alias Loco Milciades, who was required for the crimes of aggravated homicide, manufacture, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms and ammunition, extortion, punishable operations carried out in more than six years that he was within the illegal armed structure.
His criminal operation began as a member of the terrorist support network of the now former sixth front of the Farc, later he was linked as a member of the Support Network of residual structure (RAER) Dagoberto Ramos, executing various operations for the benefit of the illegal organization that led him to be named as second ringleader, by participating in the extortion kidnapping of two employees of the company Interedes last February in Río Negro, Ichira.
This man who already in 2015 had been arrested by the Army for illegal carrying of firearms, would be the alleged responsible in December 2019 for the murder of Mr. Jairo Ortiz and the aggression with shots against members of the CRIHU Indigenous community.
In 2020, he allegedly perpetrated, along with alias Wilson and El Cortico, the murder of a woman in the Río Chiquito municipality of the Páez – Belálcazar, in the department of Cauca.
In November 2020, after conducting criminal intelligence, he would have participated in the attack on the security forces in Páez Belálcazar, Cauca, a fact that resulted in the death of an 11-year-old minor belonging to the Chinas indigenous reservation.
In December of that same year, he was reported to have participated in the murder of Mr. Uriel Ortega, reported in the Río Negro municipality of Ichira, Huila.
Due to his criminal experience, the death of Loco Milciades, hits the support system of the illegal armed structure, destabilizing the armed, political and financial strategy of the residual GAO in Huila and Cauca and therefore the plans of attacking civilians, Military Forces and strategic assets of the State.
The result in the same way hits the intentions of reorganization of the Eastern coordinating Command and its territorial expansion plans.
Finally, it hits the fulfillment of the armed strategic plan (2019-2023) drawn up by the central command of the GAO-R-Structure 1 of alias Gentil Duarte, structure that takes as a transverse axis and mobility route, the southwest of Huila, seeking to establish communication between the armed structures of the East (Meta – Guaviare – Vichada) with the western sector (Cauca – Valle del Cauca).
