The individuals pretended to be furniture and rudimentary Merchants to distribute hallucinogenic substances.
The three people who were known as the Domiciliarios and they had links with the Manuel Jos茅 Gait谩n substructure of the organized armed group, GAO, Clan del Golfo; they were arrested simultaneously in a coordinated operation conducted by the Colombian Navy, the National Police and the Attorney General's office in the municipalities of Sincelejo, Sampu茅s and Corozal.
In compliance with the arrest warrants issued by the second municipal criminal court of Sincelejo, units attached to the Criminal Investigation Section of Sucre, of the Special Operations Group GOES, in coordination with troops of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of Sucre and troops of the Navy Infantry Battalion No.14 attached to Navy Brigade no.1, carried out the search procedures that led to the arrest of two men and one woman, which were required for the crimes of association to commit aggravated crimes and extortion.
They are alias Rembert, 47; alias Sandra, 42; and alias El Pune, 28, who were investigated by the authorities for six months.
Alias Rembert would be the coordinator of finances from the sale of narcotics in the southern zone of the municipality of Sincelejo. Alias Sandra, alias Rembert's girl partner, would be responsible for coordinating the supply of narcotics in the different sales points in the same area and alias El Pune would be the distributor of the drugs under the modality of door-to-door service in the municipalities of Sincelejo, Corozal and Sampu茅s.
These people would have total control of the local drug trafficking in these three municipalities of Sucre, impersonating furniture and handicraft traders to transport illicit substances. In addition, they would have links with the GAO Clan del Golfo, providing information on people who distributed hallucinogens without their authorization to later be killed.
Those arrested were put into custody of the Attorney General's Office to continue the prosecution process.
