At the facilities of the Amazon Air Group, based in Leticia, the last meeting of the year was held over the weekend conducted by community leaders and military personnel of the Colombian Air Force, with the aim of strengthening the ties of cooperation with civilians.
The Department of Comprehensive Action of the GAAMA, led the meeting, which is held on a regular basis, in order to listen to the attendees and their concerns about improvements in safety and well-being for the inhabitants; on this occasion around 15 representatives of the different neighborhoods and indigenous communities participated.
In the same way, the meeting was chaired by Colonel Elkin Darío Osorio Díaz, Commander of the Amazon Air Group, who said that “with the support of those inhabitants of the surrounding communities, is essential to achieve the necessary synergy, in order to provide well-being to those who live not only in these neighborhoods, but throughout the municipality.”
