Among those arrested is alias Valle, who would be the head of security of the ringleader of this criminal structure.
In the heavy operation that the National Army maintains in the Caribbean region of Colombia against the criminal organizations that generate anxiety in this sector of the country, six people who would be part of the Organized Gang, GDO, Los Pachencas, were arrested in the urban center of Santa Marta, Magdalena. In the same way, troops report the recovery of a minor.
The military operation, carried out in a coordinated and inter-institutional manner with the Police and the Attorney General's Office, led the troops of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Magdalena, to arrest these people in support of the search and seizure proceedings, accused of belonging to the GDO Los Pachencas and who were wanted with two arrest notices.
It was possible to establish that among those arrested is alias Valle, who would be the head of security of alias Jacob, alleged ringleader of this criminal structure. These individuals, in addition, would be linked to selective assassinations and the collection of money from extortions carried out against merchants and members of productive groups in the region and also to coordination of the sale of narcotics in the municipalities of Zona Bananera, Ciénaga and Santa Marta.
During the operation, a minor was recovered, who was put into custody of the Colombian Family Wellbeing Institute (ICBF) for the restoration of his rights.
The apprehended were given to the authorities and they will be prosecuted for the crimes of association to commit crimes, homicide and trafficking, manufacturing or carrying drugs.
