The General Maritime Directorate, through the Port Authority of Buenaventura, accompanied the first arrival of the ship ONE Orinoco, from Hong Kong, which seeks through its striking magenta color to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
Upon arrival it was received with a commemorative plaque by the Regional Port Society of Buenaventura to mark its visit through Colombia, as part of a route in which it will in the same way visit Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Peru and Ecuador.
The One Orinoco is the first container ship of the Ocean Network Express (ONE) shipping company to reach the Pacific Coast, coming from Ningbo, China, where it sailed in September.
Through these accompaniments, the Colombian Maritime Authority strengthens relations with the maritime and port productive groups of the region, contributing to the consolidation of the Port of Buenaventura as a national and international reference.
