Units of the Colombian Navy are being conducted in the village of Bajo Calima, a rural area of Buenaventura to continue working to improve the human security of its inhabitants, who moved to the urban area of the City port, after the murder of a social leader of the region was confirmed.
Faced with this fact, the Naval Institution in conjunction and coordination with military, police, civil and judicial authorities, conducted an extraordinary security meeting to clarify the facts and establish the course of operation to restore law and order in the area, works by raising the minimum security conditions of the inhabitants of Bajo Calima, in addition to denying the spaces of the region to criminal groups whose criminal operations cause discomfort and displacement.
The Colombian Navy rejects these criminal acts that destroy the social fabric of the communities and directly hit the tranquility and development of the inhabitants of the Colombian Pacific coast, in the same way, invites people to report on the toll-free lines 123, 146 and 147, any illegal or suspicious activity that puts at risk the safety of the inhabitants of Buenaventura and its surroundings.
