Heeding the call of the National Personnel Recovery Center, CENRP, the N.6 Air Combat Command, CACOM-6, was sent to carry out an exhaustive aeromedical transfer from Tres Esquinas, Caquetá, to Tarapacá, Amazonas, in a humanitarian mission that had the support of a crew and health personnel willing to save a life.
After more than three hours of flight time to reach Tarapacá, a 19-year-old woman was waiting for the Air Force aircraft, because due to the medical complication she had, a medical transfer to a higher-level hospital was conducted, where she would be received to begin with the sought-after medical procedure.
This is how the military doctors paid special assistance during the flight that had as its final destination Leticia, Amazonas. The woman who was pregnant received pre-hospital care until she was handed over to the staff of the San Rafael Departmental Hospital, where she is currently being assisted.
