This individual would be implicated in the death of social leaders and former members of the extinct Farc in this area of the Department.
In military operations, troops of the National Army coordinated with the Police and the Prosecutor's office could in the municipality of Santa Rosa del Sur Bolivar, arrest alias Pajaro, who is accused of being the main ringleader of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, E-37.
This individual, with a criminal history of 11 years, would be involved in the targeted killings of social leaders and ex-combatants of the former Farc in the municipality of Montecristo, south of Bolívar. In the same way, he collected money from extortions against merchants and economic groups of the Department of Bolivar.
Alias Pájaro, in addition, would be in charge of the production and marketing of illicit substances in the south of Bolivar, as well as the installation of improvised explosive devices against civilians. In the same way, he would be involved in the illegal exploitation of mining sites.
With this arrest it is possible to hit once again the logistical and financial scaffolding of the GAO-r E-37, a criminal organization in this area of the country. In the same way, the loss of control of Strategic Mobility routes used by this group for the shipment of illicit substances abroad is achieved.
The arrested individual was put into custody of the authorities for the respective judicial process.
