Troops of the Nueva Granada Battalion of the Fifth Brigade, a military unit of the Second Division of the National Army, with the support of the Colombian Air Force and in coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, was capture alias Carlos El Coste帽o, alleged ringleader of the Edgar Amilkar Grimaldo Bar贸n front of the Organized Armed Group (GAO) ELN and five other members of this organization. There was also a minor rescued.
The facts were reported in the village of Santo Domingo, municipality of San Pablo, south of Bol铆var, after a hard work of follow-up and contribution of intelligence aerial images of the Colombian Air Force, where the soldiers found these individuals. Two of them, including the ringleader, had a wound caused by a firearm allegedly with some days of evolution, which made it necessary to provide the medical assistance required.
