The Minister of Defense, Diego Molano, along with the Minister of the Interior, Daniel Palacios, the general commander of the Military Forces, General Luis Fernando Navarro and the director of the National Police, General Jorge Luis Vargas, presented a decisive blow against the dissidents of the Farc after the arrest alias Santiago or Machín.
“It is the victory and success of the security policy of President Duque and our Military and Police Forces,” said Minister Molano.
In turn, the head of the ministry of Defense said that, thanks to the work of the troops, the guarantee of humanitarian assistance and the non-repetition, it was possible for the peasants who were in Ituango to return home “we cannot led alias Machín or any of these ringleaders of Farc dissidents, due to alleged territorial disputes with the GAO Clan del Golfo, to take decisions on operations that afflict the peasant people.”
