The National Army in a coordinated and inter-institutional work conducted by the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), Colombian Air Force, the National Police and the Special Prosecutor's Office 117, in recent hours rescued an indigenous child who had been kidnapped by the residual organized armed group Decima Structure, in the department of Arauca.
The military operation was carried in the village of Ca帽o Seco, municipality of Arauquita, where the property in which the child remained for four months was searched by court warrant. Subsequently, he was given to the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing, ICBF, for the restoration of his rights. In the place, in the same way, troops captured a woman who was put into custody of the authorities.
The rescue came after the denunciation filed by the parents, who were part of the mentioned illegal armed group; recently they had voluntarily surrendered to the troops of the Eighteenth Brigade, stating that the child had been taken from their arms on April 26 and handed over to terrorism support networks to force them to remain in the ranks of Illegality
