In Sogamoso Boyacá, the National Army and the EAI Soluciones Business Group join forces to encourage recycling practices in the inhabitants by carrying out environmental activities.
In order to generate environmental protection operations and strengthen recycling processes, the National Army in Boyacá, coordinated with the Business Group Eco Acción Ingeniería, and the Community Action Boards carry out the campaign Recycling We Sow Hope.
This environmental education campaign aims to generate operations with the communities, to promote the importance of disposing in the best way the solid waste generated in daily routines, thus preventing it from ending up in the oceans and landfills.
Through accompanying operations, it is sought that the inhabitants sponsor trees, carrying out planting activities in exchange for recycling distribution impacting in a positive and direct way on the environment.
The campaign began in the El Cortez neighborhood in Sogamoso with a Reciclatón and a Sembratón (massive plantation of trees), which will reach the municipalities of the department of Boyacá, teaching the inhabitants on the importance of recycling, to promote environmental culture, so that the good disposal of solid waste becomes a constant operation among the community.
