We continue to contribute to the communities in the department of Meta, through the tools of Comprehensive Action and the accompaniment of public and private institutions, with the realization of a Development Support Activity in the village of Caño Rayado, municipality in Puerto Lleras, which was attended by more than 460 people who received health and beauty care, psychosocial and legal counseling, as well as leisure and recreation activities.
The Seventh Brigade of the National Army and the Professional Officers of the Reserve in coordination with the governing authority of the municipality and the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing, Families En Acción, Social Projection Group of the Antonio Nariño University, Colombian Association of Student Doctors, ACOME, Foundation Compromiso among others, conducted an important logistics chain to successfully carry out this activity that contributed to community and health security in the region.
This activity benefited young people and adults, putting general medicine, psychology and vaccination services in their region. In the same way, it provided information of general interest to the inhabitants about social protection programs through Families En Acción and Sisbén, so that they can access these benefits, which, undoubtedly, will improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of the urban area and the rural area of Puerto Lleras.
On the other hand, simultaneously with the health services, its inhabitants enjoy hairdressing and manicure services from beauty schools, as well as the presentation of musical groups, recreation aimed at children and youth inhabitants, with balloon twisting activities, face painting, inflatables and sports games.
The Development Support Activities contribute to the collective well-being in the regions, ratifying the commitment of the National Army to the protection of civilians, joining efforts with government authorities and regional companies to strengthen the well-being of Llaneras families.
