About 20 fishermen of the banks of the Magdalena River met with members of the Air Combat Command No.1, CACOM 1, to establish agreements on the part of security and cooperation, exposing their needs as workers dependent on the river.
Fishing has been one of the oldest traditional activities that has been used to obtain food and is the main source of income for around 600 families who live on the banks of the Magdalena River, where the CACOM 1, exercises control, so that fishermen can carry out their operation with total security and tranquility.
This space led to strengthening the bonds of partnership with the civilians who live from fishing and the Colombian Air Force.
In the same way, the needs of these inhabitants were heard when carrying out their daily duties and the Security and Defense Group of Air Bases reminded them of the security rules and protocols when they are near a Military Base.
