The Military Transport Air Command, CATAM, of the Colombian Air Force, received the President of the Republic of Peru, Pedro Castillo, in his visit to Colombia. President Castillo will participate in the VI Binational Meeting that will be held in Villa de Leyva with the president of Colombia Iván Duque and some ministers; during his visit military honors were made by the National Army, in the CATAM ramp.
This visit aims to strengthen the relations of brotherhood and cooperation between Colombia and Peru, based on democratic principles, rule of law, respect and promotion of human rights, strengthening multilateralism, fight against corruption, gender equality and sustainable development; the Presidents of Colombia and Peru, will lead the VI Binational Meeting to be held in Villa de Leyva (Boyacá).
“We welcome the President of Peru with whom we will lead the VI Binational Meeting in Villa de Leyva, to continue building projects of common benefit for our nations and strengthen historical and fraternal relations,” said Colombian President Iván Duque.
As the president of Peru said “We want this bilateral agenda to provide economic and legal stability to the country. I call entrepreneurs from Colombia, the Americas and the world to come to the country and invest without fear.”
Thus, the Military Transport Air Command continues to be a fundamental pillar to contribute to the nation to strengthen ties of international cooperation, positioning itself as an important military unit to comply with the projects of the Presidency of the Republic.
