Those arrested are charged with association to commit aggravated crimes and trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics.
The criminal organization was under the command of alias Pantera, who would have at his service 13 people in charge of selling the drug, in the municipality of Guamo.
In the execution of the second phase of Plan 100 Against Microtrafficking, the Tolima Police, with the support of the National Army, the Colombian Air Force, and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, dismantled the criminal structure known as Los Urbanos, with the arrest of 14 people in the municipality of Guamo, Tolima, for the crimes of association to commit aggravated crimes and trafficking manufacturing or carrying narcotics.
This criminal group allegedly carried out their illegal activity since about two years ago, where it was possible to demonstrate that this organization was apparently led by a man who was known as a Pantera, who would have under his command 13 more people (they are Maracuya, Coladera, Sombra, Máxima, Cali, Mula, El Flaco, Chicha, Mono, Anyelo, Chichones, Yeison, ayudante del rey), who allegedly met in different parts of El Guamo, apparently to plan the mode of the sale and marketing of drugs, where to do it in fixed and public sectors, as well as door to door service and retail distribution.
Those arrested committed crimes mainly in the neighborhoods Ifa, Centro, Santa Ana, el Carmen, Las Acacias and neighboring municipalities.
In the operation, 10 search procedures were carried out in different neighborhoods, achieving the finding of more than 15 thousand 300 grams of bazuco (crack), 03 mobile cellular phones, a motorcycle which they would currently use for the distribution; in the same way, it was possible to materialize the arrest of 14 persons whose arrest warrants were in force for the offences of association to commit aggravated offences and trafficking in the manufacture or bearing of narcotic drugs and one person was arrested in flagrante delicto for the offence of trafficking in the manufacture or bearing of narcotic drugs.
Those arrested were put into custody of the 8 specialized anti-narcotics Prosecutor's Office of the city of Ibagué, which at this time are presented in a virtual hearing.
During the proceedings, three people known by the aliases Chucho, Marranita and Roberto were charged with these same crimes, in a prison.
