During the closing of the second powerhouse of the Ituango Hydroelectric Project, the Colombian Air Force sent its aerial means in order to carry out the extraction of the workers and maintain on alert in case of any emergency.
An Angel helicopter of the Air Combat Command No.5, once again fulfilled the task of extracting those in charge of executing this maneuver, as done at the closing of the first powerhouse on January 16, 2019.
As soon as they were given the green light to take off, the crew of the COLOMBIAN AIR FORCE 4105 carried out the mission in 55 seconds, evacuating the seven operators of the powerhouse, in a safe and successful operation with the Black Hawk helicopter.
