In order to adopt joint measures to regularize the flow of migrants, a Panama - Colombia Ministerial Meeting is being held this Friday in the Province of Darién at the facilities of the First Eastern Brigade of the National Border Service.
In the Colombian delegation, the Vice President and Foreign Minister, Marta LucÃa RamÃrez; the Minister of Defense, Diego Molano Aponte; the Director of Migracion Colombia, Juan Francisco Espinosa; in addition, the High Military Commanders and the National Police, met the delegation of Panama headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Erika Mouynes; the Minister of Public Security, Juan Manuel Pino; the director of the National Migration Service, Samira Gozaine; and the director of the National Border Service, Oriel Óscar Ortega.
Prior to the Panama - Colombia meeting, a tour was made by the Migrant Reception Station of San Vicente, Darién Province, on the border, where dozens of Haitian families remain in transit, most of them children.
