Mompox (Bol铆var). Immediately all the security protocols foreseen by the Public Force were activated.
The Military Forces were ordered to intensify the presence and operations in order to find the criminals.
In a coordinated manner with the National Police, by air and land, units were sent to the area, to join those already in the zone. Now they have the mission to find the group responsible for this criminal operation, as well as the citizen whose whereabouts are still unknown.
The Commander of the National Army, General Ricardo G贸mez Nieto; the Chief of Operations of the Army, General Ricardo Jim茅nez Mej铆a; the Commander of the Seventh Division, General Alberto Sep煤lveda and the Commander of the Fourth Brigade, General Juan Carlos Ram铆rez, in the place of the events coordinate operations.
The authorities and the public force exist to guarantee the life, honor, assets, beliefs and other rights and liberties of the citizens.
The government with its Public Force continues to fulfill its constitutional mission to combat attacks and violations of human rights and international humanitarian law, and does not have a pause on its battle to protect rights and freedoms, and confront crime and illegality.
