A UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter took off from the Air Combat Command No.5, to carry out the aeromedical evacuation of an older adult, who was bitten by a snake in a rural area of the municipality of Sonsón, in the department of Antioquia.
Rescuers belonging to the Colombian Air Force (FAC) monitored the vital signs in flight until they gave him stable to the personnel of his Eps (health services provider) who were waiting for him at the heliport of the Police Station of this municipality, to then be taken to the health center and receive the medical care.
In coordination with the National Personnel Recovery Center -CNRP, the aircraft was sent with its crew, attending to the requirement of the sector community and evacuating the patient immediately, preventing the accident gets worse.
