Thanks to intelligence operations and the joint and coordinated work carried out by the Army, the Colombian Air Force and the National Police, it was possible to destroy nine laboratories for the production of alkaloids, allegedly belonging to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Eln, hitting this way its illicit finances.
In this same operation liquid and solid precursors destined for the elaboration of coca base paste were found. In addition, troops found three rudimentary presses, harming the illicit financing of the Ernesto Ch茅 Guevara front, which commits crimes in the municipality of San Jos茅 del Palmar in the department of Choc贸.
