Bolivar. As soon as the Coast Guard Station received information of the situation, it sent two Rapid Reaction Units to attend the emergency, finding testimonies that the passenger ship "Keysa" rammed down the stern of the smaller ship "Y es Hora", making the five crew members fall in the water. One of them remained missing for a few hours, until his body was found, thanks to the search tasks carried out by the National Navy through all its aeronautical, Coast Guard and divers capabilities, added to the support of the community.
Upon learning that the ship "Keysa" fled the accident site, a third unit of rapid reaction was sent to search for it, finding it by the bay, sailing and with only one person on board, who according to information received, would not be the pilot nor one of the passengers who were on board at the time of the collision.
The boat was taken to the Coast Guard Station of Cartagena for the corresponding procedures.
At the same time, the search for the pilot by sea and land was started, being found at La Bodeguita dock, and immediately taken to the facilities of the Coast Guard Station of Cartagena.
