Valle del Cauca. The operation against drug trafficking organizations in the Colombian Pacific led the units of the National Navy in the port of Buenaventura in Valle del Cauca, to find 200 kilograms of marijuana, which would be transported to Central America and Europe.
Naval intelligence information led troops to the Miraflores neighborhood in the 6th commune of the port, where personnel of the Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the National Navy and Coast Guard personnel of Buenaventura, found under a river house, five sacks with 202 packages with alkaloids inside.
The military personnel transferred the material to the facilities of the National Navy in Buenaventura, where it was put into custody of the judicial authorities who carried out the Preliminary Identification Test - PIPH, obtaining positive results for of 200 kilograms of marijuana hashish; no captures were made.
The alkaloid would belong to the Group Generator of Violence "La Empresa”, which sought to introduce it to the docks and pollute merchant ships with destination Central America and Europe.
With this finding, a heavy blow is given to these criminal organizations, since the drug found has a price close to 3,000 million pesos.
So far this year, the Pacific Naval Force has found about 55 tons of alkaloids, including cocaine hydrochloride and marijuana, damaging the finances of drug trafficking organizations.
